What is ConVerge Student Ministry

We are ConVerge Student Ministry!!! Converge means to come together and unite in a common interest or focus, and that's exactly what we do.  Our heart is to help Columbus area students connect with King Jesus.

ConVerge is a place for students in grades 5–12 to build friendships, ask real questions, discover who Jesus is, and learn what following Him looks like in everyday life. Whether church has always been part of your life or you're just checking it out, there's a place for you here.

What Happens On A ConVerge Night?

No two nights have to feel exactly the same, but there's always room to connect, have fun, and grow in faith.

A typical night includes:
  • Games and time to hang out
  • Worship
  • A relevant message from God's Word
  • Small-group conversations
  • Time for prayer

It's a chance to build friendships, ask questions, and figure out what following Jesus looks like in real life.
Our Heart for Students

Our Heart for Students

At ConVerge, we believe students matter now, not someday. Our goal is to meet students where they are and walk with them as they discover who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. Whether a student is brand new to church or has grown up in it, ConVerge is a place where they are seen, valued, and encouraged.

Safety & Care

Your student's safety matters to us.
All ConVerge leaders are background checked and committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for every student. During ConVerge, all students and leaders are together in the back auditorium.
For safety reasons, the doors are locked at 6:40pm and the lobby is not actively monitored once the night begins.
If you are running late to drop off your student, please text or call one of the youth leaders so we can make sure your student is let in safely.

Parent FAQ

ConVerge is for students in 5th-12th grade, welcoming students at any stage of their faith journey.

No. Students don't need to bring a Bible or any materials. But if they would like to bring their own, they are welcome to. They only need to come ready to hang out!

If you're running late, please text or message a ConVerge leader so we can make sure your student is let in safely.

All ConVerge leaders are background checked and committed to creating a safe, caring, and Christ-centered environment for students.

Parents are encouraged to follow ConVerge on Instagram or Facebook. You can also join the group on our Church Center app. Here you will see updates, events and reminders about what's happening at ConVerge. You're also welcome to reach out directly with any questions.
